CheckProtect is Harland Clarke’s recommended delivery service that provides an economical delivery option, which includes secure packaging and tracking capabilities.
What are the benefits of CheckProtect?
• The customer’s order is trackable from the time it leaves the plant to the time the package is out for delivery.
• The customer’s order will be shipped in a durable, weather-resistant bag, reducing the chances of damaged or wet checks at delivery.
• High quantity check orders are typically delivered in one package so that all checks from the order are received at the same time.
• CheckProtect is available to all ZIP codes in the 48 contiguous United States.
• CheckProtect is also available for delivery to P.O. Boxes.
If the financial institution pays for the check product, will the customer get charged for CheckProtect?
In many cases, yes. The total price displayed on the Web site at the time of the order will indicate if any charges will be applied. These charges will be deducted from the customer’s account within two weeks.
How can my customers track their orders?
The tracking number and link to the carrier’s Web site will be displayed on the Order History page within the check ordering application. If the order was placed online and the customer provided us his/her e-mail address, we will send the customer a shipping confirmation e-mail with the tracking number and a link to the carrier’s Web site.
